Founded in 1974, The Walnut Advisory Corporation is a privately held, independent managing underwriting office and program administrator based in New Jersey. Founder and President Sigmar Hessing and Executive Vice President Ariel Hessing each have 20 years of experience in underwriting and program operation.

In 2000, Walnut Advisory launched its SELECT GROUP brand to the retail brokerage community as a high-quality, comprehensive program for the hospitality and habitational markets.
